I stopped by the Santa Monica Capital One Café because I was in the area and needed somewhere to sit and work on schoolwork. I sat down at one of the bar-style work tables along the windows, took out my laptop, and attempted to plug it in. The first outlet did not work, so I tried a second. That one did not work either, so I tried a third. At that point, a staff member who was nearby volunteered the information that it was not just those particular outlets. He pointed along the entire electrical/USB strip built into the table and told me that none of the outlets on that strip work. He then pointed to the other bar-style work table, also equipped with built-in electrical and USB outlets, and told me that none of those work either. So apparently the Santa Monica Capital One Café has two dedicated work tables lined with electrical and USB outlets, and staff are fully aware that not one of them works. What made the interaction even stranger was that the employee repeatedly pointed me toward the reservable meeting rooms and office spaces instead. I actually asked, “Are you serious? None of them work?” He confirmed again that they did not and once again referred me to reserving a roo

Wonderful service and atmosphere here. I just came with my husband for a drink and unfortunately made a mess. The staff, in particular Sav were super nice and gracious in spite of it. They made me feel that it was no issue at all and said that these types of things happen all the time. I really appreciated them in their effort to make me feel better. I would highly recommend this location and look forward to coming back here again. Thanks, Sav!

Verve Coffee served at this modern, spacious café in the lobby of Capital One. If you’ve never tried Verve, you absolutely must stop in here for a delicious espresso drink (mine is a hot latte, my wife does two espresso shots over ice.) Well-rounded flavor notes in this light-to-medium roast bean. The only reason this place doors not get 5⭐️ is the fact that there are Capital One employees trying to sell you their products, which feels intrusive.

Shout out to weekend security. Intuitive, professional, courteous. Space it self is clean and safe. For capital one cc holders solid value can be found here when using the card.

The drip coffee wasn’t good but for just $2 (if use discover card) it is a good deal. The place itself is very nice. It is very clean, cozy, and pretty quiet. There are different types of tables. There are also walk-in study rooms that you can use. It feels very comfortable here. Not many places in downtown Santa Monica are that nice. I really like the vibe. The staff is very friendly.
